How do I book a Course or Workshop?

How do Tailored Silver Clay Workshops & Courses work? 
Courses and Workshops can be held at a suitable venue of your choice. It takes about half an hour before and after for us to set up and clear up. 
Alternatively, for groups of 6-8, courses can be held at our venue in Beckenham, Kent, by prior arrangement. 
 
How do Silver Clay Parties work? 
We can come to your home or to a suitable venue of your choice. 
Parties are generally about 11/2 – 2 hours long, and it takes us about half an hour before and after to set up and clear up. 
Where possible, firing is undertaken in low lighting as you can watch as the ‘clay’ turns to Silver – which is very exciting! Some items may be fired on a gas hob if you have one, or a gas hotplate (or if appropriate, in a small kiln) which we supply. 
All pieces are finished and ready to take home by the end of the event. 
 
What do you supply? 
Charm School Crafts provides everything required to ensure an excellent Charm School event (except food and drink!) including: 
Tools 
Equipment (including table coverings and extension leads) 
Materials (parties & workshops) 
 
Is anything else needed? 
For a Silver Clay event held at your home, school or venue of your choice, we need: 
Sufficient well-lit table-top workspace for all participants and Tutor 
Access to a sink with small area of space beside it (eg draining board) 
Access to electrical point(s) 
Depending on the event, we might also need: 
Access to a gas hob (if available) 
Worktop space 
How does a Silver Clay Bridal or Special Occasion Party work? 
Basically these are similar to the Silver Clay Party, but we discuss with the Bride or person celebrating a special occasion what they would like to make, and then design the jewellery accordingly, so that it is a special and unique personlised experience.  
 
How does a Jewellery Party work? 
As Party Host, you are entitled to a discounted price (calculated on the sales made at the party) for the items of jewellery of your choice (or a Gift Voucher to the same value to redeem later). The Jewellery Party Host discount is calculated on the sales made during a party, as follows: 
total party sales up to £250 - discount calculated at 10% of total sales 
total party sales £251+ - discount calculated at 15% of total sales 
So if, for example, sales at your party total £280, you will be entitled to £28.00 towards your chosen jewellery. 
 
Also, for each of your guests who subsequently hosts their own Charm School Jewellery Party, you receive either a free Gift Voucher, or additional jewellery, to a value up to £20. 
 
Prices start from under £10.00, and purchases can be made by cash or cheque. 
 
All you do is invite 6 to 20 guests (not including yourself or the Charm School Party Planner) and, on party day, the Charm School Party Planner arrives to prepare a display about half an hour before guests are due. 
 
We supply all the display equipment, and halogen lamps to show the jewellery to best effect. 
 
We bring a range of designer-made jewellery from Jesselina suitable for most tastes and budgets, starting from under £10. 
 
We can also supply Charm School Party invitations for you to send out.
